5 Signs that indicate you are probably Bloated and not Fat

While most of us, including me in the initial days of weight training took a bloated stomach for bad belly fat, which is very common as both of them can appear quite similar to each other.

But here are a few clues to avoid that mistake and through which you can easily distinguish between belly fat and a bloated stomach.

✔ Examine

Take a good look at yourself, if you have extra fat or bulges in the other parts of your body like arms, thighs and buttocks you are presumably carrying belly fat.

✔ Pinch

As crazy as it sounds, pinch your belly if you can clasp a few inches between your fingers it’s probably tummy fat.

✔ Touch and feel

The swollen areas of your stomach should feel tight and firm if it’s bloated. Soft, bouncy and loose if it’s fat.

✔Time period

For how long does your stomach look huge or big? A bloated stomach is not constant and can vary in size according to your food intake. For instance, people who suffer from bloating may find their stomach flat early in the morning.

✔Pain

Sometimes bloating can be painful whereas fat doesn’t cause any discomfort. A bloated stomach or abdomen is a result of improper diet and lifestyle which can be fixed easily by following some simple steps.
